Plan your route in advance.
It’s important to know where you are going. This will help you plan how long you’ll be out in the neighborhood. This is especially helpful if you are traveling with little ones. They may require frequent potty breaks. Couple that with an elaborate costume and it may just be a nightmare if you aren’t prepared.

Dress comfy.
If you’re going to be canvasing the neighborhood, you want to make sure that you are comfortable. Nothing is worse than giving up your adventure because your feet hurt. A nice pair of comfy shoes will make the world of a difference and it will allow you to hit more homes and get more candy!! Yay for candy!!

If you venture from under the hood and into the vehicle itself, you’ll notice the third row and enough seating for seven passengers.
Avoid masks.

While the allure of spooky, dark alleys may seem tempting to the most adventurous thrill seeker, it’s important to not venture off the beaten path. Most of the people are out enjoying Halloween for the fun for which it was intended, but beware there are still people out there that want to cause harm. Don’t make yourself an easy target by venturing into dark spaces, where help cannot easily find you.

LED headlights are great (and safe) for driving. It’s important to be aware of your surroundings while you are on the road. The Outlander comes equipped with LED headlights to help you see the road better at night.
Check your candy haul.
So, you’ve managed to have a great time gathering candy from your neighbors! That’s awesome, but there is still a bit of safe guarding we need to do before you can dive into your stash. Check all of the candy for sharp objects, loosely wrapped candy, and baggies filled with treats. Throw those items out as they can pose a serious risk to your health. If you have second doubts about any item in your bag, the best thing to do is simply toss it. Candy isn’t going away, you can always buy more at the store.

These are only a few helpful hints to get you through one of the "sweetest" times of the year. I hope you are safe this Halloween night.
